Dustin Palmer has been a face of Safe Harbor Battle in the Saddle from the beginning. He had a heart for serving, and that was very evident in every day life at and away from Safe Harbor. He was over the Maintenance & Transportation Department at the Memphis, TN location and served as the Staff Cook at Battle in the Saddle.
Dustin loved the Outreach Programs and seeing lives transformed. He was always willing to lend a hand to help someone no matter what the situation may be. Sadly, Dustin passed away May 15, 2020. His legacy will forever live on at Safe Harbor Battle in the Saddle. We will be giving the Dustin Palmer Award Buckle to the 1D Average Champion of Battle in the Saddle 2021.
It is our hope that Dustin's memory serves as a reminder to be the good in the world. No matter what life throws at you, or how tough it may get you can always help someone else.
