First we want to say THANK YOU to every person who attended Battle in the Saddle 2020. Thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors, vendors, each person who bought a cake, T shirt, calendar, or donated to Safe Harbor.
Thank you to our staff who worked countless hours getting this event ready and worked this weekend signing people up, swinging a gate, sitting barrels, driving tractors, delivering shavings, announcing, time keeping, running errands, working our Safe Harbor booth, doing raffles, helping people get parked, and everything in between.
Thank you to our vendors who had an array of wonderful products for everyone to shop and for having services right on site to be utilized.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Mark, OV & the entire Tunica Arena staff! We ran out of stalls and needed more, they got them put up. They didn't complain one time when we called needing something, whether it be more tables, help with something, etc. They did everything they said they would do and we are looking forward to Battle in the Saddle 2021 at Tunica Arena & Expo Center. They deserve a huge pat on the back after this weekend and we want them to know how much we appreciate them!

Have you ever wondered what happens with the money when you come to Battle in the Saddle or donate to Safe Harbor? We want to give you the stats on 2019.
In 2019 we housed 1142 people in 6 locations, throughout TN & AR. We successfully graduated 320 people. We have a success rate of 24% which may sound low, but is a high number for recovery programs.
The average amount of savings that someone leaves with, when they graduate our program is $4,000 and we match that 10%. In 2019 we matched $135,000 of the $1.2 million saved by the clients in our programs.
The men in our programs paid $249,000 in child support last year, and paid $1.9 million in taxes.
We had 1300 salvations & 160 baptisms. We were able to feed 424,860 meals in 2019.
This is why we say this is more than just a barrel race. Every time you run down that alley way, buy a t shirt, buy a cake, or make a donation YOU ARE INVESTING IN A LIFE. YOU are helping to put families back together. YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

What an awesome team of Safe Harbor men we had this weekend. From delivering shavings, to sitting barrels, to helping with anything they could. They were all giving it their best! Thank you guys and thank you for everyone who supports our program!
